The controller decides, alone or jointly with others, on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, contact details or similar).

2. Summary

  • Our pages set no cookies (exception: technically necessary cookies of the booking system, see section 7) and use no analytics or tracking tools.
  • Fonts are loaded from our own server – there is no connection to Google.
  • Content from our partner gmundo.de and the 360° tour (Momento360) is only loaded when you explicitly request it by clicking.
  • We use data from our forms exclusively to process your request.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider in Germany. When you access our pages, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser (server log files):

  • page visited on our domain
  • date and time of the server request
  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure provision of the website. The log files are automatically deleted after a short period. We have concluded a data processing agreement with our host in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar and the lock symbol.

5. Contact, request and voucher forms

If you send us a request via one of our forms (contact, group request/coach hire, voucher request), we process the data you enter (e.g. name, address, phone number, email address, travel details, message) in order to process your request, prepare a quote and be available for follow-up questions. The data is transmitted to us by email and is not stored on the web server.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by informal email; the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods under tax and commercial law – remain unaffected. Data is only passed on to third parties insofar as this is necessary to carry out your trip (e.g. to hotels or service providers).

To protect against misuse, your IP address is briefly stored in pseudonymised (hashed) form when you submit a form and is no longer taken into account after one hour at the latest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details, including any personal data they contain, for the purpose of handling your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

7. Online tour search and booking (Kuschik Software)

For our tour search, online booking and agency login, we use the booking software of our partner Kuschik Software, which is operated on our own web server. If you book a trip via the tour search, we process the data entered there (e.g. name, address, contact details, participant details, payment data) to perform the travel contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technically necessary session cookies may be set for the booking process to work (e.g. to remember the selected trip); they are deleted when you close your browser. The booking system also stores the language in which you use it (German or English) in the cookie “bpn_sprache” for up to 1,000 days so that the tour search is shown in your language. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR respectively.

8. Tour ideas from gmundo.de

In our “Tour ideas” section, you can display travel suggestions from our partner gmundo (www.gmundo.de). This content is only loaded when you click “Show tour ideas”. Only then is a connection established to gmundo’s servers, in the course of which your IP address, date and time and the page accessed in particular are transmitted. gmundo may set its own cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Further information can be found in gmundo’s privacy policy.

9. 360° tour (Momento360)

On the “VIP Sprinter” page, you can view a 360° tour of our vehicle. It is provided by the Momento360 service (momento360.com) and is only loaded when you click “Start tour”. A connection is then established to the provider’s servers, which may also be located outside the EU; in particular, your IP address, date and time and the page accessed are transmitted. The provider may set its own cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Further information can be found in Momento360’s privacy policy.

10. Links to social media and external providers

On our website, we link to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and to the online service of HanseMerkur travel insurance. These are simple links – no plugins are embedded and no data is transmitted unless you click the link. After clicking, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

11. Cookies and fonts

Our website itself does not set any cookies. The font used (“Plus Jakarta Sans”) is stored locally on our server; no connection to servers of Google or other third-party providers is established when you visit our pages.

12. Your rights

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • free access to your stored personal data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of processing (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) or restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): you can have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a machine-readable format,
  • object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
